I bowled my 500-600 Doubles Tournament. It was 66 today and the bowling alley was extremely humid. So of course everyone was sticking, my hands were swollen and because of all of that I had no mental game. Even with all of that....me and my girlfriend still took 1st Place!

Well, I bowled league tonight after having my lesson and by the third game I started really letting my arm swing much more freely. :) I had a 459 series tonight 158, 124 and 177. Yeahhhh! (My league average is only 120 right now!) Better than that I took all my points tonight and I'm in an online tournament! My win percentage went up to 57% and I'm sitting 13th in the tournament out of 202 people! So it was a good night for me! I hope I can find some time to get some practice in on Saturday. I have another tournament on Sunday! Hope you all bowl well this week too!
Another Great Lesson!

Well, I had another great lesson from Aleta Sill tonight. Just in time I have another tournament on Sunday! Love tournaments...just can't wait to get back to the scratch tournaments that I used to do. :( I'll get there again though.
Tonights lesson was to relax my swing. I keep trying to muscle the ball and end up wrapping my backswing. PENDULUM....PENDULUM....PUNDULUM!!! I'll get it!
USBC Arbor Valley Tournament

Well, I just bowled in the Open City Tournament on Sunday, March 17 & 18 and I did great!
Team Event: 439 + 318 cap = 754
Doubles: 436 + 318 cap = 757
Singles: 491 + 318 cap = 809!
My All Events total was 2320!
Right now we are 9th in team event with 3453, I'm 4th in singles and 2nd in all events! Doubles we didn't do so well....so no cashing there :( . Just 2 more weekends to find out how I actually did!
I'm just so excited....I averaged 151 for the whole tournament! Not bad for just changing to a lefty. By next year I hope to be at about 180. Bummer is that I can't practice this summer, because I'm going to have my surgery on June 14 on my right hand. I'll be able to start bowling again in August though so I'll get in a little practice before the season starts.
